With over 1000 wineries in the Dunsborough area, welcome to paradise. The Margaret River wine region extends from Dunsborough to Augusta with many wineries only 10 minutes from Town.
Western Australian wines are internationally acclaimed and numerous events are held each year to promote the district. These include the famous Leeuwin Estate winery concert which attracts perfomers from around the globe.

Dunsborough Lakes Golf Course offers a real challenge for the discerning golfer, especially if the sea breeze is in. The unique feature of the course is the ten pristine lakes. These lakes total over 12 hectares of water, creating an aesthetically pleasing spectacle as well as a challneging experience to all golfers. The course is situated just a few metres from the Indian Ocean, and on most days the windy conditions make the difficult course a test of character as well as skill. The course was designed and created by Murray and Wride, recognised for their innovative strategies and joint philosophy on how the great game should be played. The course includes four tees on each hole allowing players to choose their degree of difficulty during a game.

King George Whiting along with a handful of John Dory's and Pink Snapper are caught when the weather is rough and even a Dhuie may be caught.
The coastal landscape surrounding Dunsborough positions it as a fantastic base from which to enjoy a large number of surfing beaches. There is always a wave to be ridden in all weather conditions within 20 kilometres of the Township.The area is world renowned with the Margaret River Classic attracting the worlds best surfers.
