Happily married with three children Joe is a JP, REIWA Councillor and current Vice President. Previously he chaired the Finance and Risk Committee for four years. In the past Joe served on the old WACAE (now ECU) Council, School Boards and numerous community organisations.

Having experienced the radical move of stepping from the wheelhouse of an ocean going trawler literally, into a University lecture theatre, Joe has a deep and personal experience with the feeling of dislocation between home ownership!
