Walking for a Cause — Coastrek for Beyond Blue
Most recently, our powerhouse administration team took part in the Coastrek Margaret River challenge on Friday, October 31st, raising funds for Beyond Blue.
The “JMW Shore Walkers” were pumped for the challenge of hiking the most glorious the walk in Despite the unexpectedly humid weather and hundreds of enthusiastic walkers on the trail, our team powered ahead with wings on their feet and fundraising in their hearts. Coastrek is Australia’s premier charity hiking challenge for women, inspiring tens of thousands to get moving for mental health each year. Teams hike stunning coastal trails across the country, connecting with nature, friendship, and purpose along the way.
This year, Coastrek raised over $700,000 nationally — vital funds that help Beyond Blue continue offering their 24-hour telephone helpline, online forums, and mental health resources to Australians in need.
We couldn’t be prouder of our team’s effort, dedication, and the impact they’ve helped make in supporting mental health awareness and wellbeing in our community.
